No, it is not a typo.
Yes, it is also a calendar.
Yes, it will be a submission for random 2026 calendar images.
Yes, we will be printing them in-house.
No, we truly don’t know how to take on an acceptable workload.
Yes, we’re excited.

This call is open until 11/28
HOW IT WORKS:
- Submit your one-off/b-side/whatever you like photo-based images to be featured on the 2026 Candelar
- 12 selected artists will get a copy of the limited run 2026 Candelar, a Candela goodie bag, and an artist’s spotlight during their 2026 Candelar month.
- The Candelar will be a set of 12 5x7 calendar cards, similar to the 2022 run, and will be printed on Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper
WHAT TO SUBMIT:
- Photographs! Your best and weirdest outtakes, b-sides, one-hit wonders
- seasonal themes welcome, but not required
- please have images cropped to a square format for best consideration in the Candelar template.
